The latest project around the Pendino house is finishing the basement. Check out the progress. Since we have lived here we have thought about a multi-use space for entertainment, but until now we had not been able to figure out a way to get everything that we wanted. After literally years of planning, we finally have a working layout that will get it all in. The major components will be a home theater / recording studio, pool table, ping-pong table, workout room, and a bar area....oh yeah and a bathroom.
So over the past week we have had a number of earthquakes here in the Midwest, something we are definitely not used to experiencing. Twice now I have been awakened with the feeling that things are a shakin'. Though not really too scary, as it wasn't that bad, it does put some things in perspective. Folks on the West Coast are probably not impressed with our little bit of activity here, but not being used to the whole house moving, it does cause some concern for us Midwesterners. I think the most curious thing is that it can happen without any warning at all.
So there is this guy tearing up the social networks on the internet, specifically http://twitter.com. His name is Gary Vay-ner-chuk and he is about the most positive person I have seen in a while.
This is the first post after configuring the web server and installing Drupal. I have to say that this process has been relatively painless,
